Denver provides a unique opportunity for Youth Groups to reach out to an often ignored people group: skaters. Adventures in Missions delivers an opportunity to show God's love and acceptance to a group who are often rejected. We will listen for the Holy Spirit to guide us in our ministry with them.
Jesus could relate to how skaters are often treated. "He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand. One look at Him and people turned away. We looked down on Him, thought He was scum" (Isaiah 53:3 MSG). Luke 19:10 (NIV) states Jesus "came to seek and save what was lost."
